This week I visited Cilgerran Castle alongside the River Teifi in North Pembrokeshire with a group from the U3A Photography Group. The weather was variable, overcast with towering clouds and occasional bright spells. I decided early on to use a polaroid filter to bring contrast to the sky and the stoneware, and I also chose to shoot principally in monochrome, again to allow the detail of the stonework to stand out. A selection of the resulting images is shown below.
